The Pink Panther was very 'de rigeur' in the 70's, pardon my French. :)
There were posters, toys, cereal, and even a cartoon show.
Pink Panther posters are still available today in large and 'mini' sizes.
The 70's purple bedroom with a Pink Panther poster lives on!
