Barbara Fritchie's CandyStick Restaurant is permanently closed now, but it holds many fond memories of family vacations from the late 60's and early 70's.
They were famous for their good home-style food like German chicken noodle soup (Nudel Suppe) and huge Lemon Meringue Pies. As a special treat, they had lots of different flavored Candy Sticks to choose from in their Gift Shop to enjoy for the rest of the road trip.
