70's BLACKLIGHT POSTERS - THE AWESOME 'TRIPPY' LARGE POSTERS ENHANCED BY UV BLACK LIGHT AND...

IMAGINATION!

There is something very tranquil and mysterious about the deep, rich colors of a black-light poster (above image).

Many hip 'psychedelic' rooms of the 1970's were decorated with at least one of these.

UV Blacklight Bulbs can fit into any standard lamp socket to transform the space into a 'purple-y' glow-in-the-dark wonderland.

And, speaking of wonderland, many posters of that time featured themes evocative of Alice in Wonderland such as mushrooms and butterflies, and other 'down the rabbit hole' type images.

Many black light posters were flocked giving them a textured appearance which added even more depth to other popular subjects such as fantasy landscapes or wild animals like wolves or panthers.

Transport yourself back to the 70s with a blacklight poster or tapestry and relive the tranquil multi-colored vibe.

FUN FONDUE GET-TOGETHERS IN THE 1970's

A get-together with friends and family in the 1970's often meant gathering around the fondue pot!  Dipping large cubes of bread into something warm and melted was a nice, cozy way to spend a winter evening meal.
