As promised, here is a re-post from our last post on the Peasant Dress with further detail on the belt and hat.

Wide belts are 'back in' and this one from the 1970's has it all - a lace-up style in leather in a butterfly design. 


Wide-brim 'floppy' hats are also still very popular today, especially for wearing outdoors at the beach, etc.

In the 70's, anything in a natural fiber - such as straw, cotton or leather - was a very popular fashion statement.
