This great 'low-tech' manual, wind-up alarm clock was made by the Bradley Clock Company in the 1970's.
This free-standing clock stood about 4.5 inches high and had glow-in-the-dark hands and hour markers.
The alarm sounds with a brass clapper that strikes each bell on top of the clock.
Luckily, this feature can also be (manually) turned off by turning the clapper guard on the top - which is also how you turn off the alarm once it has sounded.
There's nothing like waking up to a fun, purple clock!
